COMPLETE TRADING GUIDE
How to Trade on GMGN
GMGN is a multichain memecoin trading terminal built around one loop: surface a brand-new pool within a minute of creation, audit the contract, and trade it from the same screen. It runs on Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Tron and Blast, from a web app, per-chain Telegram bots and a mobile app, at a flat 1% per transaction.
Whether you are clicking your first token in the trenches or running copy tasks and trailing exits, this hub covers the execution side of GMGN. New to the platform? Start with the GMGNGuide homepage for the overview, then work through the guides below.

What Trading Features Does GMGN Offer?
According to GMGN's official documentation, the terminal covers discovery, analysis and execution in one surface. Discovery runs through the trenches, a New Pair view listing pools from one minute to 24 hours old, a Trending view over 1, 5, 30 and 60 minute windows, and a Discover leaderboard of smart-money wallets ranked by profit and loss and win rate. Analysis runs through contract security checks, insider and sniper detection, holder analysis and wallet-level phishing checks. Execution runs through a one-click trade window, keyboard hotkeys, copy trading, limit orders, auto buy and sell, and trailing take-profit and stop-loss. Every one of those pays the same flat 1% fee.
What GMGN Does Not Do
GMGN is a spot execution tool. No futures, margin or derivatives products appear anywhere in its documentation, and there is no fiat on-ramp and no card purchase. Several features that get described as multichain are not: copy trading is Solana-only, SnipeX is Solana-only and whitelist-gated, and the group smart-money tracking bot is Solana-only with Ethereum and Base listed as under development. The wallet model has a limit worth knowing too, since private key export is prohibited on every chain, including wallets you import yourself, and withdrawals run web-only through a whitelist.

Why Traders Choose GMGN
Almost every terminal in this category charges exactly 1%, so price is not what people are choosing on. GMGN wins on coverage: six chains from a single Telegram account, with the same discovery, analysis and automation surface on each. That mix has shifted hard. Over the 30 days to 2026-08-06, BSC produced 58.9% of GMGN's fees against Solana's 31.5%, and GMGN was 99.5% Solana as recently as January 2025 (DefiLlama). On a Solana-only basis it ranks fourth in the cohort rather than second, which matters if Solana is the only chain you trade.
The analysis layer is the other reason people stay. Wallet detail pages carry 7-day and 30-day profit and loss, win rate, average holding duration and cost distribution, plus phishing checks that flag blacklist buys, honeypot buys, wallets that never actually bought, and buy-sell pairs executed inside ten seconds. Token pages flag insiders, snipers and the first 70 buyers, and label each one as holding, buying more, selling part, selling all or transferred. Wallet Radar scans up to 10 tokens at once to find the wallets that hold all of them or bought earliest, then lets you track or copy any of them in one click.
Automation is deep but has sharp edges that are better learned here than live. Auto-sell is calculated per purchase rather than per position, so several buys create several overlapping take-profit and stop-loss ladders, and GMGN explicitly advises closing the earlier orders yourself. Copy trading pauses itself after three consecutive failures. Lightning Mode shaves about two seconds by acting on unconfirmed chain messages, at the risk of executing a trade the target never actually made. And GMGN's profit and loss display does not include fees, which is where most "where did my money go" questions start.
Curious how GMGN stacks up against the rest of the cohort? Our GMGN vs Photon comparison ranks them on DefiLlama fee data rather than affiliate payouts. Before you size a position, confirm the current settings in the GMGN fee documentation and in the app, and keep the failed transaction guide handy, because failed buys on new pairs are routine.

How do I start trading on GMGN?
Open the GMGN bot in Telegram or connect Telegram on gmgn.ai, fund the wallet GMGN creates for you with the chain native token, and set slippage, priority fee and tip before your first buy. No KYC, no email and no seed phrase to import. From there you can paste a contract address into the bot or click any token in the trenches to open a trade window.
What fees does GMGN charge on a trade?
A flat 1% per transaction, charged on the buy and again on the sell. GMGN documentation states there are no additional charges, and the same rate applies to manual trades, sniper trades, copy trades and filled limit orders. Network gas plus the priority fee and tip you set are separate and are not collected by GMGN, each with a minimum of 0.0001 SOL and a maximum of 2 SOL.
Is GMGN copy trading available on every chain?
No. Copy trading is Solana-only, despite being widely described as multichain. It requires a Telegram login and caps at 10 concurrent copy tasks. You can copy with a fixed buy size or mirror the target size up to a cap, and filter by market cap, liquidity, token age, pool burn ratio and launchpad, with a 20-token blacklist. After three consecutive failures a copy task pauses itself and does not restart on its own.
What slippage should I use on GMGN?
GMGN own guidance is auto for manual trades, 30 to 35% for automated buys, sells and limit orders, and 50% or more for new or hot tokens. Those numbers are high because memecoin pools move between the quote and the fill, but they are also an authorization: 50% slippage authorizes a fill 50% below the price you saw. On an illiquid token that setting usually costs more than the 1% fee.
Can I trade futures or use margin on GMGN?
No. GMGN is a spot memecoin execution tool. No futures, margin or derivatives products appear anywhere in its documentation. There is also no fiat on-ramp, and the in-app wallet cannot swap USDT or USDC into SOL or ETH natively, so you have to trade the stablecoin own contract to convert.
What can I trade on GMGN?
Spot memecoins across Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Tron and Blast. GMGN continuously scans launchpads including Pump.fun, Four.meme, Raydium and LetsBonk, and surfaces new pools from one minute old. Despite its Solana reputation, BSC produced 58.9% of GMGN fees over the 30 days to 2026-08-06 against Solana 31.5%, per DefiLlama.
