What GMGN Is

GMGN is a multichain memecoin trading terminal paired with a suite of Telegram bots, covering Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Tron and Blast. It launched in June 2023 as an Ethereum smart-money tracker, and the name is short for “Good Morning, Good Night”, a reference to running around the clock. The web app leads with the trenches view and the new pair, trending and discover feeds; the bots put the same order flow inside Telegram, one bot per chain. Trading costs a flat 1% on every chain, with no subscription tier. The team is roughly 30 people, bootstrapped with no disclosed outside funding, and has collected about $240M in lifetime trading fees according to DefiLlama. Smart Money and Insider Wallet Tracking

Wallet tracking is what GMGN was originally built to do, and it is still the deepest part of the product. The discover page ranks wallets by 1-day, 7-day and 30-day profit and loss alongside win rate and average cost, so you can find who is actually making money before you decide whose trades to mirror. Each wallet has its own page with holding duration, unrealized profit and a set of phishing checks that flag bot-like behavior such as buying and selling inside ten seconds. On the token side, GMGN labels insider traders, snipers and the first 70 buyers, and marks whether each of them is still holding, adding, trimming or gone. Wallet radar scans up to ten tokens at once to surface the wallets they share, and the X tracker watches a curated list of accounts for contract addresses. There Is No GMGN Token

GMGN has never issued a token, and none of its 68 documentation pages mentions a token, a points program, a season or an airdrop. We checked three aggregators on 6 August 2026: DefiLlama lists GMGN with no token record at all, CoinGecko's search returns zero results for the term, and CoinMarketCap's canonical GMGN slug returns a 404. Roughly 50 tokens using the “$GMGN” name do exist across Solana, BSC, Ethereum and other chains, and every one of them is unaffiliated dust, with the largest under $5,000 in market cap. Co-founder Haze said in early 2025 that the team was still undecided internally, which is the closest thing to an official position that exists. The Referral Program

GMGN pays referrers 10% to 30% of the trading fees their invitees generate, and it pays the referred user nothing. There is no discount, no rebate and no sign-up bonus on the invitee side, which is worth knowing because several sites in this niche advertise a 10% or 15% fee cut that GMGN does not document anywhere. There is also no published tier table: rates above the 10% floor are negotiated through a Google form, and DefiLlama's measurement of GMGN's actual referral outflows puts the blended payout at 14.7% all-time and 19.6% over the last 30 days, so 30% is a ceiling almost nobody sits on.
