It sets how far your own order pushes the price, which is why a $50 buy on a shallow pool can fill several percent worse than the quote you saw. ### Volume without liquidity is a warning A token turning over more volume than it holds in liquidity is being churned by a small number of wallets. That is normal for a fresh launch and unusual for an established token, so the ratio is worth a glance. ### The buy/sell split is sentiment, not price Buys and sells are transaction counts, not size. A pool can show 70% buys while the price falls, because one large sell outweighs many small buys.
